Careers at ProxyGlance
ProxyGlance helps people compare proxy providers, scraping APIs and antidetect browsers using facts they can check. We're a small, remote team. We care about accuracy, clear writing and honest recommendations, and we keep commercial deals out of our scores. Read our review process to see how we work.
How we work
- Remote first. Work from anywhere, with a few hours of overlap with the rest of the team.
- Accuracy over volume. We'd rather publish one well-checked page than five rushed ones.
- Plain language. We explain technical products so that a first-time buyer can follow along.
- Independence. Affiliate commissions never change a score or a ranking, and that applies to everything we publish, in every format.

EditorFull-timeRemotePlan, edit and fact-check our reviews, comparisons and guides so every page is accurate, clear and up to date.
About the role
You'll own the quality of everything we publish in writing: vendor reviews, top-10 lists, directory copy and our beginner guides. You'll work with writers and researchers to turn vendor pricing pages, documentation and test notes into content that's accurate and easy to read.
What you'll do
- Edit reviews, comparisons and guides for accuracy, structure, clarity and tone.
- Fact-check prices, features and policies against vendors' official pages before anything goes live.
- Keep published pages current when vendors change their plans, and update the "last reviewed" dates.
- Plan the editorial calendar together with the team, based on search demand and reader questions.
- Maintain our style guide and apply it consistently.
- Brief writers and give clear, actionable feedback.
What we're looking for
- 3+ years of editing experience, ideally for a review, comparison or technical publication.
- Excellent written English and a strong eye for detail.
- Comfort with technical subjects. You don't need to be an engineer, but you should enjoy learning how proxies, APIs and browsers work.
- A working knowledge of on-page SEO: search intent, headings, internal links and metadata.
- Experience with Markdown or a Git-based publishing workflow is a plus.
What to send
Your CV, links to three pieces you've edited (before-and-after versions are ideal) and a short note on why the role interests you.
Video EditorFull-timeRemoteTurn product walkthroughs, tests and explainers into clear YouTube videos and short-form clips.
About the role
You'll bring our reviews and guides to video. That includes screen-recorded product walkthroughs, setup tutorials, comparison explainers and short clips for social media. Our videos should be as accurate and easy to follow as our written content.
What you'll do
- Edit long-form YouTube videos from screen recordings, voice-overs and talking-head footage.
- Cut short vertical clips (YouTube Shorts, Reels, TikTok) from long-form videos and guides.
- Design thumbnails, lower thirds, simple motion graphics and on-screen callouts that make technical steps easy to follow.
- Keep a consistent visual style across all of our channels.
- Add captions and chapters, and check every on-screen fact (prices, plan names, features) against our published review.
- Organise footage and project files so videos can be updated when a vendor changes its product.
What we're looking for
- 2+ years of professional video editing, with a portfolio of YouTube or tutorial-style content.
- Strong skills in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro. After Effects or similar for motion graphics is a plus.
- Experience editing software tutorials or screen-recorded content.
- Good sense of pacing, audio cleanup and clean, readable on-screen text.
- An understanding of YouTube retention and thumbnail best practices.
What to send
Your CV, a link to your portfolio or showreel (include at least one tutorial or software video if you can) and a short note on why the role interests you.
Social Media ManagerFull-timeRemoteGrow our audience on LinkedIn, X, YouTube and Reddit with useful, honest posts about proxies and scraping tools.
About the role
You'll build ProxyGlance's presence where developers, data teams, marketers and multi-account operators spend time. The goal is to be useful: share findings, explain concepts and point people to the right comparison. We don't do hype or engagement bait.
What you'll do
- Plan and publish a regular content calendar across LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Reddit and other relevant communities.
- Turn our reviews, guides and data updates into posts, threads, carousels and short videos, working with the Editor and Video Editor.
- Join community discussions in an honest, helpful way, following each platform's rules on self-promotion and disclosure.
- Track performance and report what's working: reach, engagement, clicks and audience growth.
- Spot trends and recurring questions, and feed them back into our editorial plan.
- Make sure affiliate relationships are disclosed wherever they apply.
What we're looking for
- 2+ years managing social media for a brand, publication or B2B/SaaS company.
- Clear, concise writing and a feel for the tone of each platform.
- Experience with scheduling and analytics tools.
- Interest in tech. Familiarity with web scraping, proxies, data or affiliate marketing is a strong plus.
- Good judgement: you know when not to post.
What to send
Your CV, links to accounts or campaigns you've run (with results, if you can share them) and a short note on why the role interests you.
